Bio
Maddox Caleb Harding was born January 7th, 1988. When he was only three years old, his parents were killed in a tragic car accident and he was sent to live with his grandmother, Vera Louise Harding. He was always a shy child, but his shyness was never addressed, so he never grew out of it. His anxiety got in the way of school, so Gramma Vera (a.k.a. Grams) took him out of school and began home-schooling him. He received a diploma equivalency in late January.
Being as his grandmother is a devout Catholic, Maddox was expected to attend church every Sunday and Wednesday for masses. He never attended confession and often skipped on Catechism. It was at mass that he met Andrew Sumner, and after a long casual acknowledgement, the two boys became friends. However, Andrew's father was in the navy and soon Andrew was shipped off to California when his father received a transfer order to move to a base over there. Maddox was once again alone.
Maddox also met Phoebe Cates in church, but he didn't get the nerve to speak to her until almost a year had passed. They talked, became friends, flirted, and then became a couple. It didn't last. Phoebe broke up with him to date a football player at her high school, which drove Maddox into a deep depression.
One night, while cutting his arms, Vera walked in on him. After some prayer and deep contemplation, she asked him to check himself into Cherry Hollow Institution. Maddox refused at first, but later decided that it would probably be for the best for him to go. He signed himself into the care of the doctors at Cherry Hollow, where he currently resides.
